I’ve made two trips to the Canary Islands recently, in December 2010 and March 2011. This short slideshow of some of the wilder corners begins on Lanzarote and moves west to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and finally La Palma. I was somewhat surprised I must say by just how much relatively unspoiled country there is on these islands.
